From when I was a kid till today I was always constantly told one thing. To say thank you whenever someone does anything, however big or small, just say thank you. It always amazed me and continues to amaze me how these two words changed the world. After you are done reading this blog. And if you have read it word to word. I promise you’ll remember to say thank you.
Every day, many people help us
complete the tasks we do and we have to make sure we thank them. So why should
we thank them? because you loose nothing saying thank you. Its just two simple
words “thank” and “you”, but we still don’t thank everyone in our life
who helps us. Why? Because some people think saying thank you lowers your
image. Some people think there is no need for saying it, Some say it doesn't
really matter. But I’ll tell you one thing, just say “thank you” because it
makes some one’s day better. My dad told me to say “thank you” to everyone one
who helped, from the waiter who serves at the restaurant to the person who
opens the door to a 5 star hotel. Say thank you because it makes them feel like
their job really matters, its makes them fell respected, it makes them fell
that their job actually has an impact. How would you feel if you did something
really big for your friend and he doesn't thank you?. Yes, it is shattering
because you’ll feel like you did all the work just too give him and receive
nothing not even a few words of appreciation for all your hard work. Do
you want to make someone fell this way? I’m sure you don’t so say “thank
you”.
My class teacher tells the class, be it the person who cleans the floor, or the washroom, you want to say thank you because it makes the other person happy. The teacher said, they do all this on a daily basis, without them the institution would look really untidy, all you need to say is thank you and their happy because they feel they have served the people. And you lose nothing, absolutely nothing when you say thank you. Whenever a teacher leaves a class make sure you say thank you because I have asked loads of teachers and they said that when their leaving class, if all the students rise and say “thank you” it makes all the difference to them.
The teachers spent years studying just to help you study. These two words word which cost you nothing will make them happier, make their day better. When you say “thank you” on a regular basis people want to talk to you more, people want to help you more because those two words are just special and when people hear it it make them fell more alive. One more really important thing, when you do something for someone, never expect a “thank you” because if you are satisfied with the work you have have . Its all ok. Because expecting appreciation does’t always turn out to be good. So make sure who ever helps you in any way, just say these two magic word “thank you” .And don’t just say it because it is curtsy, say it because you want to say it, say it looking into the person’s eyes, because when you look into their eyes and say it, it means you really mean it. Say because you want to brighten their day.
